XM Radio – Is it worth the cost?

OK, so I’m just about done with my XM Radio trial that came with the car I recently leased. So do I go ahead and shell out the cash to keep the service, or do I pass on it?
I’m leaning towards signing up for the service, since it also includes XM Radio Online, which means that in addition to while in the car, I can listen to XM while at the PC.
The problem, it’s about 13 bucks a month if you pay monthly, of course there are lower rates for ordering a longer subscription period. Honestly, I think I’m gonna go ahead and subscribe, I’ve been much happier listening to XM in the car than I thought I would be.
How about you, what do you think of these pay for play radio services such as XM and Sirius?

I have to say, I love the XM service, but I hate the fee. I have some limited experience with a boombox one that came with a new Cadillac purchase, free service for a year. Love the format, no commercials, NASCAR feed, etc, but I just don’t want to pay for it.

Well, just about everything these days comes with a cost, even if it isn’t out of your pocket. I made the decision it was worth it to me. Actually, one of the best part, that I just recently found out via a rep at XM, is that if you decide to cancel, they will indeed refund whatever subscription cash you had left, assuming you prepaid for an extented period.

I have never personally had a subscription to XM or Sirius Radio myself, although a buddy of mine is currently with XM Radio and loves it. Like Gronar, my buddy hates the fee and is letting his one year subscription run out. I have listened to XM Radio and like the no commercials!! But for me I will pass on them both for now. Although I am thinking about getting the Blackberry 8820 which supports XM Radio, if I do get the phone, I will probably sign up for the XM service as well, just to try it out for myself.
