Resident Evil 4 Mobile Edition for Beginners lets you buy just the beginning

by uugakom on Feb.15, 2010, under Gadgets, Media, Software, Video Games, iPhone

For some, the true horror of Resident Evil 4 is never getting to see what happens past the first scene. For those unfortunate would-be Leon Kennedys, Capcom has released yet another version of RE4 to the iPhone App Store — the second for iPhone and the third for mobile in general. This version adds a new “beginners” difficulty mode, in addition to four other difficulties. It also adds a new “Mercenary Mode,” a “Coin Shoot” mode, and a new tutorial. And if you’re such a Resident Evil neophyte that you don’t even know if you want to play it, you can buy it in chapters.

by uugakom on Jan.07, 2010, under Gadgets, Media, Video Games, iPhone

NVidia chose to show off the processing power of the new version of its mobile Tegra processor the same way many companies demonstrate their big-boy processors: with Unreal Engine 3. On stage at its CES presentation , NVidia demonstrated an FPS running on the processor — the same processor the company demonstrated in several portable tablet-type devices. Though Epic’s Tim Sweeney classified it as the “same engine” that runs on PC, Engadget described it as “A lot like the iPhone demo we saw recently

by uugakom on Dec.24, 2009, under Gadgets, Media, Video Games

Having received my copy yesterday, I’ve only been able to put a few hours into Might and Magic: Clash of Heroes for DS. However, I can already tell that it’s going to become an obsession, at the expense of things like other games and interacting with my family . Critter Crunch developer Capy has created an incredibly engrossing game that melds the best aspects of both strategy RPGs and puzzle games
