In the land of Twitter, Just Cause 2 developer Eidos is a fairly new entrant. Having just, 10(ish) hours ago, joined up via Square Enix Europe community manager Keir Edmonds, the company account has already dropped one bombshell : a Just Cause 2 demo is “on its way.” Though the account merely alludes to “details to follow,” we’d be downright surprised if the demo hit any later than the game’s March 23 release date . Just to make sure Eidos didn’t want to say anything else, we’ve reached out for more information and we’ll update this post if we hear anything else. As promised , Rockstar’s shadowy L.A. Noire has stepped out of the shadows and into the flashbulbs of a Game Informer cover. The magazine has a 10-page feature on the game, highlighting its facial animation and, oh yeah, the recreation of 1947 Los Angeles. Pick up a copy of the magazine for the details or we’re sure you can get the information from the dark alleyways of the internet.

Fiction : Wow, so, we were totally on the back of this ATV, bullets going everywhere and then jumped this ramp. Oh yeah, and then when we landed I went right up to this tank’s butt and blew it up with an RPG, it was awesome! Then we ran into this factory, and we were like “woah,” cause there were all these bullets whizzing by. Then we captured the zone, ran down some stairs and were staring down the barrel of another tank, but we were lucky ’cause our chopper blew it up from the sky. I totally didn’t get hit by any bullets, it was like playing with nOObs! Reality : F*ck, man! I bet you it’s some 12-year-old who keeps sniping us every time we get on these vehicles.

New Kingdom Under Fire II media has been released, showing off some of the first footage of actual gameplay. The game looks to play similarly to its predecessors, offering hack-and-slash gameplay mixed with some strategic elements. The first trailer, embedded above, deals mostly with the simple fighting mechanics. You know the drill: Hammer on the light attack button and occasionally tap the heavy attack button

Okay, so the latest trailer for TimeGate’s Section 8 certainly looks cool. What with the robo-solders dropping into battle from the sky, calling in tanks and giant mechs, and FPS action, we’ll give it that. Our only question is this: Where’s the heart ? What’s that?
