Whomever compiled this Brink trailer must have enjoyed themself some Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes , because we swear we’ve only seen dudes stylishly dodge projectiles like that in a Hideo Kojima game. But, we digress.

You’ve already seen the (arguably) most newsworthy video we filmed during Wednesday’s Rock Band Bar Night event hosted by Harmonix at GDC . However, our Flip Cam captured a few other magic moments which we’d be remiss if we kept to ourselves. They’re not the most news-y videos we’ve ever posted on our own site, though one of them does feature a preview of the upcoming Lady Gaga DLC . That’s gotta be worth something, right? Disney: Split/Second coming to PC retail and digital distribution (plus: new GDC trailers!)

Earlier today, we noticed a report over on That Video Game Blog that stated Black Rock’s upcoming racer, Split/Second , would only be available on the PC as “a limited online release.” Turns out, that isn’t the case, as a Disney spokesperson has confirmed to Joystiq that the game will be available on the PC both via retail and digital distribution on May 18, alongside its console cousins. When questioned about which digital distribution services the game would release on, Disney couldn’t say. So, as a peace offering, we were given a pair of new trailers: the first you can see above this chunk of text, while you’ll need to click past the break for the other.

Harmonix gets its ‘Brain Stewed’ by Green Day: Rock Band

The one track we were most looking forward to from Green Day: Rock Band was, of course, “Brain Stew/Jaded” from the outfit’s 1995 album. It’s a powerful, triumphant tune — and, apparently, it’s also super hard . The Harmonix crew attempted the song during last night’s “Rock Band Bar Night” event at GDC, and — well, it ended in tears. Or rather, jeers . You can check out some off-screen footage of their tremendous failure above, or footage of them actually playing the game past the jump

PlayStation Move trailer shows you what you’ll look like whilst Moving

PlayStation Blog recently got its hands on a trailer for the very recently monikered PlayStation Move — though it doesn’t really contain any information which hasn’t surfaced over the past few minutes (or rather, months). There’s PlayStation Eye integration, voice support, and — guess what! That ball on top? Totally changes colors. The only new information this new trailer imparts is what you’re going to look like while you play a game with the PlayStation Move. That is to say, infinitely dweeby.

GDC Video Hands-on: Game Room (Xbox Live)

Microsoft is here at GDC showing off its upcoming Game Room service, and we got it on video just for you . The experience is probably exactly what you expected, but it’s worth noting that while the service does utilize Avatars, you don’t actually walk around the virtual arcade as your Avatar. Instead, the arcade rooms are essentially interactive menus (though you can select to play the classic arcade games from a normal menu, if you prefer). Video: The elusive iPhone Shoryuken

The jury is still out on Street Fighter IV for iPhone , but let it be known: You probably won’t pull off a Shoryuken — the “Rising Dragon Fist” — on your first try. Or the second. Or the third. We learned this very quickly when trying out the game at Capcom’s Fight Club event during GDC .

New Just Cause 2 trailers dissect the ‘Anatomy of a Stunt’

We love that Just Cause 2 ’s trailers have simply devolved into demo reels showing off the ridiculous destructive powers the player can harness using a hookshot, a parachute and a bit of ingenuity. Two such videos were recently released by Square Enix, subtitled “Anatomy of a Stunt.” The first , which shows a rather exhilarating car jump over explosive-lined jet fuel tanks, is posted above. The second , embedded after the jump, shows all the clever ways one can dispatch enemies using gravity. Sorry, Square Enix marketing team, but we’re not comfortable classifying “murder” as a “stunt,” no matter how creative said “murder” might be. Official introduction: Street Fighter’s ‘new’ challengers

Finally, after being announced by the latest issue of Famitsu and then a leaked trailer , Capcom has re-reconfirmed the addition of Street Fighter III: Third Strike ’s Ibuki, Makoto and Dudley to the roster of Super Street Fighter IV . Along with the announcement , Capcom dropped a few pieces of concept art and screenshots featuring the new brawlers, posted in the gallery below. The developer also released two gameplay clips — one featuring Dudley, which we’ve posted above, and one featuring Makoto and Ibuki, which we’ve posted after the jump. Feel free to check them out, if you’d like — however, we all know that these characters’ existence is meaningless

Sega finally shows Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown

As the AOU 2010 expo gets underway at Tokyo’s Makuhari Messe (also home to the annual Tokyo Game Show), Sega is showing its latest coin-op iteration of Virtua Fighter , called Virtua Fighter 5 Final Showdown . (Or: Virtua Fighter 5 Probably Not Really the Final Showdown Because the Game is Still Super Popular — but we can understand why Sega went with the more pared-down title.) So far, only a highly stylized teaser trailer for the (for now) arcade-only title has been released, along with a page on the official Japanese Virtua Fighter site that mentions (via machine translation ) additional costumes, more character customization items and new moves. Of course, it’s been almost three years since the PS3 and Xbox 360 versions of the Lindbergh-powered quarter-muncher hit the US, so we’re not exactly holding out hope for this one popping up on store shelves in the States
