If you’ve been looking for a good solution to make your laptop (or notebook, whichever term you prefer) a bit more user friendly while in a stationary location, then Logitech’s Alto Cordless may be a product you might consider looking into. I happened to notice the unit while I was in my local Costco retailer.

ESPN signs a deal which will enable them to provide full length games and TV shows for your Xbox 360.

ESPN will be offering full-length NCAA football, basketball games, Summer X Games 13, and episodes of such ESPN shows as World Series of Poker, The Contender and Madden Nation. I recently went to an event in New York where EA Games was displaying what they feel are the ’seven hottest games of the New year.’ I can’t say I completely agree with that statement, but there are at least four titles on the list that I would say have a good chance of making EA at least partially right.

The games that were featured at the even are as follows.

• Army of Two
• Battlefield: Bad Company
• Burnout Paradise
• Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath
• Mercenaries 2
• Rail Sim

Let’s take a closer look at these seven titles and I’ll give you my impressions (at About.com’s Video Game Strategies web site) of them.

OK all of you Zune fans, we have waited patiently and finally Microsoft has announced the release of the 3rd generation of the Zune digital media player. Which includes three different models to choose from: Zune 4GB, Zune 8GB and the Zune 80 GB. The sleek black 80 GB Zune model has a bright 3.2 inch screen, and comes with a pair of Zune Premium Headphones.

D-Link has always had a good name in networking, but more recently they have been moving to tackle the gamers by releasing a special line of gaming routers. I reviewed their previous gaming router at Xbox Solution (click that link for the review), the router was so exceptional we were compelled to give it the XBS Editor’s Choice Award.

Now, with the announcement of the DGL-4500, an N technology Gaming Router, we’ll have to see if D-Link is still on track with their promise to make gaming as lag free as possible. One thing that does indeed give me hope is how they have supported the previous 4300 via firmware updates, making some fairly major enhancements to the device post-purchase. Continue Reading
