Fable II X-Box 360 Walkthrough

Posted on 21 October 2008 by Joseph Rybka

Fable II X-Box 360 Walkthrough

This walkthough covers the main storyline of the game. It covers only those missions necessary to complete the story which is only a small part of the game. There is no need to run though the storyline, you can spend as much time as you like playing other aspects of the game (exploring, building renown, buying houses, having a family) and return to the storyline whenever you want.

Childhood

First select a male or female character. This decision may change some of your dialogue options, but doesn’t affect the overall story.

After speaking to Rose, follow her. You’ll notice a glowing yellow trail. Throughout the game this trail will (usually) show you where to go to complete your active quest. Follow this trail and you’ll come to a trader who will show you a magic music box for sale for 5 gold. You’ll also get a hint that it just may actually be magic. Your new goal is to gather 5 gold to buy the box. Continue Reading

Posted on 22 December 2007 by Joseph Rybka

In this season of giving, Blockbuster is giving themselves a 40 percent raise. For those of us that are signed up for Blockbuster’s mail order DVD service, they send you 3 then you can exchange them for movies at your local Blockbuster; we are in for a big rate hike.

The 40 percent rate increase is quite unbelievable, but this rate hike was inevitable being that Blockbuster lost $37.8 million in the third quarter of 2007. Continue Reading

Need For Speed ProSteet Interview

Posted on 18 November 2007 by Christina Mariannino

nfsprostreet I’ve always been a big fan of the Need For Speed series of video games, so when I was in New York a couple of weeks ago I jumped at the opportunity to interview Mike Mann, Senior Producer for Need For Speed ProStreet. Now, unfortunately there were a couple of questions that weren’t answered, but it seems Mike did a good job at clearing up most of my concerns. Read the full NFS ProStreet interview at Xbox Solution.

EA says they got the 6 hottest New Year titles - you think?

Posted on 12 November 2007 by Jason Rybka

I recently went to an event in New York where EA Games was displaying what they feel are the ’seven hottest games of the New year.’ I can’t say I completely agree with that statement, but there are at least four titles on the list that I would say have a good chance of making EA at least partially right.

The games that were featured at the even are as follows.

  • Army of Two
  • Battlefield: Bad Company
  • Burnout Paradise
  • Command & Conquer 3: Kane’s Wrath
  • Mercenaries 2
  • Rail Sim

Let’s take a closer look at these seven titles and I’ll give you my impressions (at About.com’s Video Game Strategies web site) of them.

Xbox Solution interviews Drowning Pool lead singer Ryan McCombs

Posted on 04 November 2007 by Jason Rybka

XBS Interview Drowning Pool's Ryan McCombsOf course I’m going to be a bit bias to this interview, since I was the one hosting it over at XBS, but if you are into music, video games, or have any connection with the military then you should give it a listen. You can grab the recent XBS podcast right off iTunes if you use an iPod, or head over to the XBS blog post to listen to it via the on-site audio player. (there is also a direct mp3 link below)

Rich, Jason and I recently had a chance to interview Drowning Pool’s lead singer Ryan McCombs. We talked about the long road since the death of Dave Williams, the band’s involvement with supporting our troops overseas, video games he and the crew play, the band’s music in gaming/TV, and their teaming up with the IAVA (Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America) to bring the Lane Evans Veterans Health and Benefits Improvement Act of 2007 to congress.

Here are a couple links to get you going:
